XChange@Work is the charitable component of our events. The program is designed to bring the technology community together to connect and give back to the local communities that host our events throughout the year.
For the Healthcare IT Summit, we are supporting the Ronald McDonald House in Orlando by creating comfort kits for families and collecting soda can tabs for the recycling program.
How You Can Help
1. Donate items from the RMH comfort kit list:
• Travel sized toiletries
• Hand sanitizer
• Candies, gum, mints
• Crossword puzzles
• Playing cards
• Disposable cameras
• Note cards and stamps
2. Stop by our XChange@Work table onsite to write a note of encouragement to the families for the comfort kits.
3. Save your soda can tabs (for RMH recycling program)
Bring a few items on your own, or consider hosting a collection and sending your group’s donations. This is a great time to clean out closets and catch-all drawers to see what you might have!
And this is the perfect opportunity to give leftover items with old logos or past dates – like pens, bags, and notebooks – to a good home.
